The Future of Marines in the Pacific

The Marine Corps is in the midst of a significant realignment, shifting force structure and emphasis to the Indo-Pacific theater to counter threats by China. This includes standing up a new base in Guam, transforming existing infantry and artillery units to Marine Littoral Regiments, and changing how Marines train with allies in the region.
