Changes and Lessons Learned from the Russia-Ukraine Conflict

The Russian war on Ukraine is the first major land war in decades between two modern military units with advanced weapons. The lessons military leaders take from this battle will change the understanding of conflicts that are largely fought on land, and possibly reshape the future of the U.S. Army. So what are some of the most important takeaways so far? In this session, Defense One will speak with Army experts about the insights gained on leadership, training, discipline, and logistics for these types of long-term conflicts. They will discuss the future of warfare, from how to command troops to safeguarding soldiers against drones and insecure communications.
