Preparing for War in the Atmosphere

Innovation and dominance in space are indispensable to effectively counter future threats. As a result, Congress has allocated millions of dollars in funding for space-based projects and further the construction of the National Defense Space Architecture. But how are defense and industry partners using these funds to effectively build a marketplace that can quickly deliver new space capabilities to the warfighter? During this session, Defense One will talk to space experts about some newly awarded contracts and what they mean for the future of the branch, and their efforts to mobilize satellites that can deliver non-line-of-sight targets to warfighters around the world.
